The Annual Digest of Industrial R&D project reported on important issues and trends influencing industrial R&D, such as the internationalisation of R&D, the globalisation of business, the growth of services industries and the fusion and complexity of the interfaces between public and private sector R&D. It used publicly-available sources, including official reports and professional and academic literature, primarily to inform policy-making at the EU level.
